Tractor Supply Q2 Sales +9.6%

[Thursday, July 26, 2012]  Tractor Supply Company reports second quarter net sales increased 9.6% to $1.29 billion from $1.18 billion in the prior year's second quarter. Same-store sales increased 3.2% compared to a 4.6% increase in the prior-year period.

Net income for the quarter was $106.6 million, or $1.45 per diluted share, compared to net income of $91.2 million, or $1.23 per diluted share, in the second quarter of the prior year.
