PRO Names Retail Award Winners

[Wednesday, August 08, 2012]  PRO Group, Inc. has named Juniata PRO Lumber & Supply of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania the winner of the 2012 Paul L. Cosgrave Memorial Award. The store is also the 2011 PRO Hardware Retailer of the Year for Wallace Hardware, based in Morristown, Tennessee.

In addition, PRO Hardware is recognizing L&M PRO Lumber in Emporium, Pennsylvania, the 2012 Paul L. Cosgrave Memorial Award Finalist and the 2011 PRO Hardware Retailer of the Year for The Bostwick-Braun Company, based in Toledo, Ohio; Kellogg Lumber Company in Kellogg, Idaho, the 2011 PRO Hardware Retailer of the Year for Horizon Distribution Inc., based in Yakima, Washington; Tide Marine Supply in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, the 2011 PRO Hardware Retailer of the Year for Long-Lewis Hardware, based in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Paul L. Cosgrave award, presented annually to PRO Hardware retailers, recognizes superior commitment to the principles and ideals of effective hardware merchandising. It is named for PRO Hardware’s founder, Paul L. Cosgrave.

Shari Kalbach, managing director for PRO Group, Inc., said the Paul L. Cosgrave Memorial Award represents the highest honor awarded to locally owned businesses that play an important role in their community.
